SELECTING THE RIGHT GUITAR – AN ELECTRIC PERSPECTIVE

Hi Everybody. When taking Country Guitar Lessons you need a couple of things. The first is an instrument. Now I am going tell about a music instrument. Its the GUITAR. The guitar is very easy to play when you learn properly. When you play an instrument, your thoughts and feelings comes in a music form. When play the guitar the same thing happens. Also when you play the guitar, your sorrows are converted to happiness. Its very difficult to play if you do not pick the right guitar. Lots of manufacturers sell a variety of guitars in different shapes and sizes. You need to pick the right one which suits you.

If you are new to musical instruments then it is better to pick a slimmer type. In the beginning it will be difficult for the new comers to learn because they might have not developed the required skills. While playing, their fingers will sweat a lot. More you play with it more simpler it becomes. If you memorize the base chords, power chords and major-minor scales then you can go for medium size of guitar. You can also choose a heavy guitar when you are confident enough to play fluently with it. Small and thin types of guitars are the best choice once you are experienced because they are comparatively small and are harder to hold for some people.

It is more important to select a guitar which has been adjusted, tuned and tested well to make it easier to play. Also check the accuracy in tuning, intonation and tone production. A quality guitar will hold adjustments longer than a cheap one. Select a guitar which attracts you so that you will be motivated to play frequently.

Many people taking Country Guitar Lessons will think of buying electric guitar but mistakenly will by cheapest acoustic guitar. An acoustic guitar is too hard to play and make you not to touch it hereafter. When compared with electric, classical and acoustic, the technical approach is different for each.

If you are selecting a guitar for your child, select in such a way its not too big and too hard to play. Avoid buying guitars and packages where the only attraction is an amazing discount. Selecting a guitar based on the price alone is a big mistake.

Now go out and take a look locally at guitars. Take a friend and make a day out of it.  If your friend plays the guitar, all the better. After a day of looking you will have a lot better understanding on what you need and how to find a quality instrument.

After you choose a guitar, you are ready to start your Country Guitar Lessons.

Testimonials

"My husband has been trying to learn guitar for two years by struggling through books. A few chords he picked up right away, but he never seemed to be able to progress much beyond that. He would always say, 'I just need someone to show me!' Since starting Learn & Master Guitar, he's improved his fingering, his understanding of how to read music, and he is finally excited enough to stay motivated and practice regularly. Thank you!!!"

"I have been playing on and off for a good ten years now and until Learn & Master Guitar, I hadn't felt like I had progressed that much. The lessons are easy to follow and not intimidating at all. Steve's way of teaching is great! He doesn't go too fast and he keeps you engaged each step of the way.

Oh, and I had always thought reading music was for people who understood Beethoven but now it seems like that's not the case! This is great news! I'll keep you posted on my progress."
